The aim of this study was to determine ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin and ofloxacin susceptibility of 100 Escherichia coli strains isolated in urine samples at the Microbiology and Clinical Microbiology Laboratories of Ege University and Aydın Adnan Menderes University in the Ege Region and Antalya Akdeniz University and Adana Çukurova University in the Akdeniz Region by using agar dilution method. From each laboratory 25 strains, totally 100 strains of E. coli were collected. Out of 100 E. coli strains 74 were susceptible to ofloxacin, one strain was intermediate susceptible, and 25 strains resistant; 74 were susceptible to levofloxacin, two strains were intermediate susceptible, and 24 strains resistant; 72 strains were susceptible to ciprofloxacin, two strains were intermediate susceptible, and 26 strains resistant.
