A great problem of public health, onchocerciasis, which is endemic in Africa and the middle parts of America, is a filarial infection causing a heavy ithcy dermatitis, subcutaneous nodules and eye lesions. A 64-year-old male case of Onchocerca volvulus infection diagnosed by the histopathologic examination of the excisional biopsy of the subcutaneous itchy nodule located in the iliac region, is presented here due to its rarity in Turkey.
