Brucellosis is an endemic zoonotic disease in Turkey and may lead to complications affecting many systems. The aim of this study was to evaluate the clinical data and follow-up results of brucellosis cases. The most freguent complaints, symptoms and findings in 30 patients at their first admission were arthralgia, perspiration, myalgia, backache and fever. The most frequently affected systems were osteoarticular and hematopoietic systems. The fact that the symptoms and findings of brucellosis show variability makes clinical diagnosis difficult and can delay treatment. For that reason in the presence of fever and osteoarticular symptoms in patients
living especially in endemic regions brucellosis should be considered in differential diagnosis.
