The researches on economic analysis of immunization programs are on the increase because of recent production of many new vaccines. The aim of this article is to discuss the validation of researches for Turkey on the sample of PCV7 by explaining the stages of economic analysis of immunization. These stages are; perspectives, type of economic analysis, time span, discount rate, vaccination cost per dose, the vaccine effectiveness, modeling, incidence, fatality rate, cost of diseases on the model and sensitivity analysis. The data of researchers' country are used on every stage. Before using the study results in Turkey, the results should be discussed on the basis of three questions: Are the results valid for our country? Do we have national data? What are our priorities? Unfortunately, the targets and expenses of immunization programs are steered by international organizations, not by national politics. Therefore, independent political willpower which prioritize health through a prioritization procedure and autonomous technology assessment institution are absolutely necessary.
