The purpose of the study was to determine the relation between blood donation numbers and viral infection markers. Totally 4537 blood donors who had applied to the Ege University Blood Center were evaluated. HBsAg and anti-HCV were significantly lower in blood donors who had donated blood five-nine times or 10< times compared with the donors who had donated blood one to four times.
